NATURAL GROCERS BY VITAMIN COTTAGE AND FAMILIES FIRST JOIN FORCES TO PREVENT
CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT
COLORADO STATEWIDE:
September 1 marks the beginning of a month-long campaign by Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage to raise money to empower parents, nurture children, strengthen families, and end the cycle of child abuse and neglect. Across the state, 27 stores will collect customer donations for Families First. At month end, Natural Grocers will match donations, $ for $. This is the 3th year for this partnership and in 2008, Families First received over $32,000 to treat abused children and work with parents to prevent the possibility of abuse or neglect.
